It is always important to remember that it is not what happens to us but how we see it. By reframing the situation we can view a negative situation in a whole new light.

Even by asking solution focused questions such as how can I resolve this situation most effectively or how can I get a win win solution here? Rather than dwelling in a fearful state this approach can give us some control over the situation.

What we often tend to do is dwell on our current circumstances and become more fearful, stressed, anxious or panicky. If we then considered what if the worst case scenario happened, what would I do?
